
About
Vera studied Journalism, Scriptwriting, European Literature and Transdisciplinarity of the Arts in Hanover, Hawaii, Perpignan, Santiago de Compostela, Bergamo and Zurich.
During her studies, she published short stories poems and graphic texts in literary journals and anthologies.
In 2011, she received a scholarship from the German National Merit Foundation for the Summer Academy on 'Writing Science in Fiction' in St. Johann, Italy.
Her debut novel "Runa" (Paperback Edition: "Runas Schweigen") was published by Limes in August 2015. It's also translated to Dutch and Polish. It was nominated for the "Friedrich Glauser Prize 2016", won the "Reader Prize 2015" and the "Skoutz Award 2016".
Her second novel, "Das Buch der Vergessenen Artisten" came out in September 2018 and is available in Dutch since July 2019.
Vera speaks five languages. Since 2012, she has been living and working in Zurich.
